If you want to get the game up and running on the Fallout 76 minimum requirements, you will need at least an AMD Radeon R9 285 graphics card, an AMD Ryzen 3 1300X processor, and 8GB of RAM. Of course, as Fallout 76 is an online multiplayer game, you will also need a pretty good internet connection in order to run the game. However, even if you have a great internet connection, you may still encounter performance issues if you only just meet the game's minimum requirements. So, we recommend aiming for a higher benchmark. 

To meet the Fallout 76 recommended specs, you will need an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 GPU, an Intel Core i7-4790 CPU, and 8GB of RAM. This isn't a huge jump in system requirements over the minimum specs, and most modern machines should have no issues meeting this relatively low benchmark.

The Fallout 76 download size on PC comes in at 80GB of HDD or SSD space. While the developer does not state that an SSD is required, we highly recommend installing the game onto an SSD to ensure you get the best performance out of the game. Fallout 76 offline

Fallout 76 cannot be played offline in any capacity. Sadly, the game requires an internet connection at all times, even if you launch the Private Adventure game mode (which is the closest thing to a singleplayer mode you will find in the game). 

Fallout 76 crossplay

Strangely, Fallout 76 doesn't have any crossplay features despite being available on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem likely that crossplay features will be added in the future despite the massive surge in player numbers following the success of the Fallout TV series.
