The Colonists system requirements state that you will need at least 4 GB of RAM. Additionally, the game developers recommend somewhere around 8 GB of RAM in your system. You will need at least 1 GB of free disk space to install The Colonists. An Intel Core i5-12400T CPU is required at a minimum to run The Colonists. However, the developers recommend a CPU greater or equal to an Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 to play the game. Provided that you have at least an ATI FireGL V7350 graphics card you can play the game. But, according to the developers the recommended graphics card is an NVIDIA GeForce 510.

The Colonists will run on PC system with 64 bit Windows and upwards. Additionally it has Mac and Linux versions.
