Best SteelSeries Keyboard 2024

Reviewed and rated - these are the best SteelSeries keyboards.

SteelSeries has been making gaming hardware since 2001. They were the first manufacturer to create a mechanical keyboard designed for gaming.

SteelSeries is a large Esports sponsor, with teams such as Evil Geniuses, winners of the Dota 2 International Championships exclusively using SteelSeries gear. Other big Esports teams using SteelSeries keyboards include Fnatic, Virtus.pro and FaZe clan.

The most expensive, and ultimate SteelSeries keyboard is the Apex Pro. It has a built-in OLED screen which can display a variety of info - this is a SteelSeries feature we’ve seen on a few of their products which we haven’t really seen from other brands. The flagship feature is adjustable mechanical switches - the key travel can be adjusted to suit you. If you’re interested, check out our SteelSeries Apex Pro Review.

Looking for a budget SteelSeries keyboard? The Apex 3 costs around $50 - you don’t get mechanical key switches at this price, but 10 zone RGB backlighting and water resistance. Check out our SteelSeries Apex 3 Review for more information.

A great midrange keyboard from SteelSeries is the Apex 7. Costing a little less than the Apex Pro, it has most of the same features apart from the adjustable mechanical switches, and is available in a more compact TKL layout. Check out the SteelSeries Apex 7 Review if you’re interested.
