The Homeworld 3 PC requirements were officially announced by Blackbird Interactive, detailing everything from the game's minimum requirements, and up to Ultra settings with ray tracing. Be warned, the system requirements for Homeworld 3 are quite chunky, especially compared to its predecessor. 

The Homeworld 3 minimum requirements call for an AMD RX 480 GPU, an AMD RX 5700 CPU, and 12GB of RAM. While this will get you up and running with the game, you will only be playing on the low in-game graphics preset.

To reach the Homeworld 3 recommended specs, the developers have stated that an NVIDIA RTX 2070 GPU, an Intel i5-11700K CPU, and 16GB of RAM are needed to ensure smooth gameplay performance.

Homeworld 3 Ultra settings

To play on the absolute highest graphics, you'll need at least an NVIDIA RTX 3080 GPU, 16GB of RAM, and an Intel i7-13700K CPU. However, if you want to play on the Homeworld 3 ultra specs at 2160p on the 'Epic' in-game graphics setting with ray tracing enabled, you'll need an NVIDIA RTX 4080 GPU, and an Intel i7-14900K CPU.

The Homeworld 3 size for download is 40GB of HDD or SSD space. While the developers have stated that the game will run even on the highest settings on a HDD, we recommend installing the game on an SSD to ensure the best performance. The developer is now confident that the game will be ready for launch come May once it has made some "final tweaks".
