New World System Requirements

In terms of game file size, you will need at least 50 GB of free disk space available. To play New World you will need a minimum CPU equivalent to an Intel Core i5-2400. Whereas, an Intel Core i7-2600K is recommended in order to run it. The cheapest graphics card you can play it on is an AMD Radeon R9 280. Furthermore, an AMD Radeon R9 390X is recommended in order to run New World with the highest settings. The minimum memory requirement for New World is 8 GB of RAM installed in your computer. Additionally, the game developers recommend somewhere around 16 GB of RAM in your system.

New World settings

New World is still in alpha for most players, so while many of the game’s systems have been finished, it is likley that they will receive lots of tweaks as the game launch approaches. We'll update this page on New World bugs and graphic options as they become available.

New World beta

A closed New World beta began on July 20, 2021 for players who have pre-ordered the game. You can sign up to be a tester here. The New World beta requirements are expected to be the same as the full release.

You do not need an Amazon subscription to play New World. You can access the game via a one-time purchase. There is a standard edition and deluxe edition available to buy.
