Can I run Starbound?
The minimum memory requirement for Starbound is 2 GB of RAM installed in your computer. If possible, make sure your have 4 GB of RAM in order to run Starbound to its full potential. In terms of game file size, you will need at least 3 GB of free disk space available. By contrast, the game developers recommend somewhere around 4 GB of free disk space on your system drive. The cheapest graphics card you can play it on is an NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500. Furthermore, an NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 is recommended in order to run Starbound with the highest settings. An Intel Core 2 Duo U7600 CPU is required at a minimum to run Starbound. However, the developers recommend a CPU greater or equal to an Intel Core i3-530 to play the game.
