Anno is a phenomenal series of city-building and logistics management strategy games set to return to ancient history with Anno 117 Pax Romana, and set to devour a significant amount of my free time. The official Anno 117 requirements demand a fairly decent CPU if you want to run the game smoothly, but nothing as powerful as we were originally anticipating. You will, however, likely benefit from a more powerful CPU given that previous titles in the series also benefited from better processors and greater amounts of RAM over more powerful graphics cards when it came to performance.
The Windows 10 and 11 Anno 117 minimum requirements only demand an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 or AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT graphics card, an Intel Core i7 7700 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 processor, and 16GB of RAM. As Anno specs go, this is fairly low, especially for a game that reintroduces armies to the series.
As for the Anno 117 recommended specs, you'll need more than the Anno 1800 requirements demanded, with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 or AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT GPU, paired with an Intel Core i5 9600K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU and 16GB of RAM to get the game running on its "High" settings at a decent frame rate. Compared to other AAA titles, even this is fairly low, and most modern gaming rigs, laptops, and PCs should have no issues meeting this level of hardware.
Anno 117 size - How big is Anno 117?
The Anno 117 download size on PC will require 117GB of SSD space. I can't tell if it requires 117GB because the name of the game is also 117 or if that's a coincidence, but it's quite likely that the game will require additional space post-launch once Anno 117 starts to receive DLC.
