Can I run Archeage 2?
We don't know much about the ArcheAge 2 system requirements just yet, but we do know that it's being developed on Unreal Engine 5, which could lead to suped up specs compared to the original. Fortunately, the first ArcheAge asked so little of your rig that even if its recommended requirements became the new game's minimum, it still wouldn't be too demanding. Don't fret that the first trailer for the MMORPG sequel looked stunning, as XL Games will have showcased it on max settings using top hardware available. After all, first impressions count!
Using our best guess, we think the ArcheAge 2 minimum specs will call for an Intel Core i5 6500 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600 CPU paired with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 or AMD Radeon R9 380 graphics card and 8GB of RAM. Bumping things up to the recommended specs will likely look towards an Intel Core i7 7700 or AMD Ryzen 7 1700 processor with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 (3 GB) or AMD Radeon RX 580 GPU and 16GB of RAM. Don't go upgrading just yet, though, as these might change as we get closer to launch.
ArcheAge 2 release date
XLGames CEO Jake Song didn't say much about an ArcheAge 2 release date, but we can expect it to land on PC and consoles around 2024.
ArcheAge 2 Steam
Most MMORPG games carry their own launcher, but an ArcheAge 2 Steam release seems likely given the original game and its Unchained re-release are both on Valve's platform.
What is Archeage 2?
ArcheAge 2 is the upcoming sequel to the 2013 fantast MMORPG, made by Korean developers XL Games.
