Can I run Avowed?

To meet the Avowed requirements, you will need an AMD Radeon RX 5700 GPU, an AMD Ryzen 5 2600 CPU, 16GB of RAM, and 75GB of HDD or SSD space.

The Avowed system requirements aren't particularly demanding by modern standards, though the entry-level memory requirement will decide whether older laptops and PCs can get the game running at all. Fortunately, upgrading RAM is a relatively simple endeavour (so long as your existing RAM isn't soldered to the board), so as long as your graphics card isn't more than eight years old (seriously), you should be able to run Avowed.

In fact, all you need in order to meet the Avowed minimum requirements is an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 GPU, an Intel Core i5-8400 CPU, and 16GB of RAM. Of course, bar the RAM, this is a really low bar for entry given the GTX 1070 was released in 2016 and the i5-8400 came out in 2017. Surprisingly, this old hardware is actually able to get the game running, but doesn't do so on the best settings.

In order to get the most out of the game, you'll want to meet the Avowed recommended specs which require an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 GPU, an Intel Core i7-10700K CPU, and 16GB of RAM. This is a significant jump in hardware demand over the minimum, but not entirely unexpected to get a game like Avowed running at 60FPS or higher.

Avowed size - How big is Avowed?

The Avowed download size on PC requires 75GB of HDD or SSD space. On consoles, Avowed also requires 75GB of space, but the developer has stated that console versions require an SSD whereas the PC does not.

Avowed settings

Avowed certainly demands a lot from your rig at when the graphics settings are cranked up to the highest, so you might want to consider turning Ray Tracing, Upscaling, and reducing Motion Blur to 20% or less to improve your overall FPS. From testing performed by PCGamesN, the best Avowed settings require the DLSS Super Resolution Quality to be off for 1080p monitors, set to quality for 1440p, and set to balanced for 4K monitors.
