Battlefield 3 Performance Guide
BF3 is almost a decade old now, so most modern PCs will have no trouble at all running the game maxed out with high frame rates. However if you are still encountering performance issues, here are some steps to try.
- Close resource-heavy background programs before running BF3 - Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) to see which programs are using the most resources.
- Run the game in fullscreen as opposed to windowed.
- Ensure you have the latest graphics cards drivers installed.
