With the release of the first proper trailer, we finally got to see some actual gameplay footage which gave us a great idea about the sort of hardware the game will likely require. However, judging from the often easy benchmark previous Borderlands games have presented, it wouldn't be too surprising if the Borderlands 4 PC requirements for 2025 would be similarly approachable.

So, we estimate that the Borderlands 4 minimum requirements will require something in the region of an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 graphics card, an Intel Core i7-4770K processor, and 8GB of RAM. Of course, these requirements might well be overkill for the minimum benchmark, but this level of hardware should be able to run the game when it launches in 2025.

In order to run the game at its best, you'll likely need to meet a much higher benchmark, but not by too much. We estimate that the Borderlands 4 recommended specs require an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 GPU, an Intel Core i7-8700K CPU, and 16GB of RAM. Considering the game is releasing to the latest consoles, the Nintendo Switch 2, and PC, it seems likely that the upper limit of the game's demands will be, relatively speaking, quite low compared to other looter shooters.
