Can I run Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Remastered?
The Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Remastered system requirements ask for 80 GB free storage space to install the game. Infinity Ward recommend a minimum of 8 GB of RAM, but if possible, have 12 GB in order to run Modern Warfare 2 Remastered to its full potential. The minimum graphics card you can play it on is an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670. Furthermore, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or better is recommended for the best experience. To play MW2 remastered you will need a minimum CPU equivalent to an AMD FX-6300 Six-Core. However, the developers recommend a CPU greater or equal to an Intel Core i5-2500K.
The PC version of Modern Warfare 2 remastered includes 4K support, uncapped framerate and ultrawide monitor support. There is no MW2 Remastered Steamrelease however, the game is only available through the Battle.net launcher.
There is, unfortunately, no Modern Warfare 2 Remastered Multiplayer - this remaster is single player campaign only, and there are no plans for a multiplayer remaster.
MW2 Remastered Stutter and FPS drops can be solved a number of ways. First ensure you are running the latest NVIDIA or AMD Drivers for your graphics card, or try a clean graphics driver install. Turning off anti-aliasing, triple buffering and vsync can give a large performance boost too. Problems may also be caused by your PC not meeting the minimum requirements of the game. If you are struggling to run the game at a higher resolution, the 'render resolution' option is useful.
