The DayZ system requirementsare quite demanding, with a minimum CPU equivalent to an Intel Core i5-4430 CPU required. The recommended CPU is greater or equal to an Intel Core i5-6600K. DayZ PC requirementsstate that you will need at least 8 GB RAM, but ideally have 12 installed. The minimum GPU recommended is equivalent to an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760, but the recommended graphics card is an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060. You will need at least 16 GB of free disk space to install DayZ.

• Disable 'Vsync' and 'Foliage Smoothing'
• Lower options like Shadow Detail, Texture Filtering and Object Detail - these will see the biggest FPS boosts.
• Ensure you are running the game in fullscreen mode, not windowed.
