Can I Run Dead Island 2?
To run the Dead Island 2 requirements you need an AMD Radeon RX 480 graphics card, an AMD Ryzen FX-9590 CPU, 10GB of RAM, and 70GB of HD space.
Dead Island 2's system requirements are certainly a cut above the original, but not out of reach for gamers with older rigs. That said, the storage requirements are fairly high for a game with such low minimum specs, so you might want to consider upgrading your HDD or SSD if you don't have much space left.
To meet the Dead Island 2 minimum requirements, you only need an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card, an Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor, and 10GB of RAM. Overall, this is a fairly low barrier to entry, but it won't render the game at its best.
In fact, the developers have stated that the Dead Island 2 recommended specs demand an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER GPU, 16GB of RAM, and an Intel Core i9 9900K CPU if you want to run the game on its better presets.
Unfortunately, this still won't be enough to render the game on the higher presets. From our testing and the developers recommendations, we've found that the the Dead Island 2 ultra system requirements need a minimum Intel Core i5-12600KF with an NVIDIA Geforce RTX 3070. Or, if you really want to go the extra mile for 60FPS on a 4K monitor, Dambuster Studios recommend a beefy AMD Ryzen 9 7900 X with an AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT.
