Can I run Delta Force?

To run the Delta Force requirements, you will need an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 GPU, an intel Core i3-4150 CPU, 12GB of RAM, and 50GB of HDD or SSD space. 

The official Delta Force system requirements for both the base Delta Force and the Delta Force Black Hawk Down campaign are not demanding in the slightest, even for older PCs and laptops. The only limiting factor that older devices might struggle with are the minimum RAM requirement, though a RAM upgrade should resolve that.

The Delta Force minimum requirements only require an AMD FX-6300 processor, an AMD R9 380 graphics card, and 12GB of RAM. Overall, this is an incredibly easy benchmark to achieve, though some gamers may struggle to meet the RAM requirements if they haven't upgraded their overall memory capacity in the last five years.

Fortunately, you won't need to worry about upgrading your machine a great deal if you want to play the game at its very best, as the higher graphics presets don't require much more from your PC than the minimum.

In fact, to run the Delta Force recommended specs, you'll only need an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card with 5GB of VRAM, an Intel Core i5-6500 CPU, and 16GB of RAM.

Best Delta Force settings

If you want to maximize your performance in-game, you'll want to tweak a few Delta Force settings. More than anything, be sure to play the game on the largest resolution you can short of 4K to benefit from an increased draw distance. Testing performed by PCGamesN found that 4K settings resulted in a massive hit to FPS, even on an RTX 4070 GPU. As Delta Force is a competitive shooter, high graphical fidelity can be incredibly important to identifying threats from a distance, but be sure to prioritize higher FPS over graphics by turning those settings down if you only meet the minimum requirements.

Delta Force Steam Deck

As of writing, the Delta Force Steam Deck rating is listed as "Unsupported" but, encouragingly, Steam is working on adding support for the game, which could see the game's current rating improve in the near future.

Delta Force Black Hawk Down campaign

The Delta Force Black Hawk Down campaign is a free mode available to everyone already enjoying the Delta Force open beta and is set to "faithfully reimagine both the revered 2001 Ridley Scott movie and the classic Delta Force series campaign, resulting in the definitive retelling of the infamous Mogadishu operation." This campaign will effectively introduce a singleplayer component to the otherwise multiplayer-centric Delta Force.
