Can I Run Elden Ring?
To run the Elden Ring system requirements, you will need an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 GPU, an Intel Core i5-8400 CPU, 12GB of RAM, and 80GB of free SSD space.
With your adventure stretching the wide breadth of the Lands Between, dragons, monsters, and difficult bosses, it's a little surprising that the Elden Ring PC requirements are very accessible to modern machines. The first Elden Ring DLC looked as though it might make the game more demanding on your PC, but fortunately the Shadow of the Erdtree requirements only demand a little extra HD space.
So, to meet the Elden Ring minimum requirements, you'll need an AMD Radeon RX 580 graphics card, an AMD Ryzen 3 3300X processor, and 12GB of RAM. This level of hardware is more than enough to get you up and running in the game, and run the game well, but you might encounter a few performance issues during particularly crowded areas of the game.
The Elden Ring recommended specs are barely a step up from the minimum specs, calling for a GTX 1070 or RX Vega 56 GPU paired with an i7-8700K or Ryzen 5 3600X CPU and 16GB of RAM.
While this is a surprisingly low bar for gamers to enjoy Elden Ring, it is worth mentioning that the recommended specs are by no means the best way to enjoy the game (at least from a graphics perspective). If you want to enjoy a full 4K resolution, HDR, or ray tracing, you'll need to meet the Elden Ring ultra specs. There are no official ultra specs, but you'll want to aim for an NVIDIA RTX 40 series of GPUs, paired with the equivalent of an Intel Core i7-12700K CPU, and upwards of 16 to 32GB of RAM.
Elden Ring download size - How big is Elden Ring?
The Elden Ring download size for PC comes in at 80GB of HDD or SSD space with Shadow of the Erdtree installed. On PlayStation, Elden Ring takes less space, needing only 64.9GB of space, and about 61GB on Xbox.

In a surprising twist, the second expansion to the base game manifested as an entirely standalone entity, and throws the franchise's considerable hat into the roguelike arena. The Nightreign system requirements are only slightly higher than the base game, but you should have little difficulty bridging the gap if you have a modern system.
Elden Ring will run on PC system with Windows 10 and upwards.
