Can I run FragPunk?

To run the FragPunk system requirements, you will need an AMD Radeon RX 550 GPU, an AMD Ryzen 3 3100 CPU, 8GB of RAM, and 40GB of HDD or SSD space.

FragPunk is a new take on the traditional hero shooter genre, and, fortunately, no amount of game-altering shenanigans have any real impact on the FragPunk specs for PC and laptop. Overall, the game isn't demanding at all, and should be playable even on older devices.

In fact, on a Windows 10 OS and up system, the FragPunk minimum requirements only require an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti graphics card, an Intel Core i7-4790 processor, and 8GB of RAM to get the game running well. Of course, the higher tier graphics will be out of reach for rigs that only just meet the minimum specs, and said higher specs are quite hardware intensive!

The FragPunk recommended specs demand an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 GPU, an Intel Core i7-10700K CPU, and 16GB of RAM, which is a significant increase over the minimum requirements.

Curiously, the developers idea of "recommended specs" are also the FragPunk ultra specs, so you'll have no issues running this game at 60FPS+ on a 4K monitor if you can meet this benchmark so long as your internet connection is up to snuff.

FragPunk size - How big is FragPunk?

The FragPunk download size on PC requires 40GB of HD space, with no requirement in place for an SSD.

FragPunk console release

Despite the developer's original intentions of releasing FragPunk to PC and consoles on March 6, 2025, the developer announced a last minute delay for consoles due to performance issues. Sadly, it seems that the FragPunk console version wasn't delivering the same user experience as the PC version, according to the developer Bad Guitar Studio in their announcement. At present, a FragPunk console release date has not yet been provided, with the developer stating that they are taking the time they need to get it ready. As such, it seems unlikely that FragPunk will be available on consoles until Q3 or Q4 of 2025 at the earliest.
