The Guild Wars 2 system requirements were set very low in comparison to most modern games prior to August 20, 2024. However, the new expansion - the Janthir Wilds - hugely expanded on the core MMORPG. Fortunately, unless your PC or laptop is on par with a potato, you should have no issues meeting the new Guild Wars 2 PC requirements. 

Even an older setup should be able to meet the Guild Wars 2 minimum requirements, which calls for an AMD Radeon HD 7970 graphics card or equivalent, an Intel Core i3-4130 processor or AMD quad core processor with 3.8GHz clockspeed, and 8GB of RAM. From the original requirements, this is a considerable leap, but still pits the game much lower than many modern releases in terms of hardware demand.
