Can I run Marathon?

To run the Marathon requirements, you'll need an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti GPU, an Intel Core i5-8600 CPU, 8GB of RAM, and up to 80GB of space.

Marathon is an upcoming extraction shooter from the makers of the HALO series and Destiny, and the footage currently available suggests the game will be quite demanding of your PC or laptop. Of course, the developer has not released any official Marathon PC requirements with the exception of the Marathon alpha specs, but we've put together our best guess at the hardware you'll need to get the game running at its best come release by analyzing existing footage, and examining the latest hardware trends.

In order to get the game running for its closed alpha test and meet the Marathon minimum requirements, you will need an AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT graphics card or equivalent, an AMD Ryzen 5 2600 processor, and 8GB of RAM. Overall, this is an incredibly low bar of entry considering what we've seen of the game's trailer. However, as the game is only in a closed alpha state, it is quite likely that the minimum requirements will increase prior to the game's final release. 

Assuming Marathon is optimized on par with modern AAA titles when it leaves alpha and beta access, we expect the Marathon recommended specs will call for an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 GPU, an Intel Core 11600K CPU, and 16GB of RAM.
