Several No Rest for the Wicked bugs have been quickly reported by the community following the No Rest for the Wicked release to Early Access on April 18, 2024. The developer has already acknowledged many of these common issues and has reported that work is underway to remedy them. Common issues include:

• The inability to remap keys
• Limited aspect ratio options
• Performance issues across the board, particularly when loading in new areas
• The lack of a pause option in singleplayer

Several issues have workarounds that have been proposed by the developer, though more official fixes are expected in an upcoming No Rest for the Wicked update. 

• Player getting stuck or falling through the world - Exit to main menu, go to your Realm in the Realms view, then use the "Continue from Last Whisper" option
• Progression loss - Reload an earlier save, specifically use the "Backups" option
• Controller not working - Double-check that Steam Input is enabled on Steam as PlayStation controllers do not work if the option is disabled
