The Callisto Protocol System Requirements

The Callisto Protocol PC requirements help to usher in a new era, placing Steam's most popular graphics card of 2022 in the minimum specs required to play the survival horror game. The developers at Striking Distance Studios don't say which version of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 you'll need to be able to run the game at 30fps on 1080p with low settings, but it's more than likely the 6GB model considering the minimum AMD GPU suggested is the Radeon RX 580. Pair either of these with either an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600 CPU and 8GB of RAM, and you should be good to run the game.

It doesn't take much more to meet the recommended Callisto Protocol PC specs, which should run the game at higher settings and frame rate. These include either an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 or AMD Radeon RX 5700, with an Intel Core i7-8700 or AMD Radeon RX 5700, and 16GB of RAM. Recommended doesn't always mean best, though, which is why the developers have also have different Max system requirements and Ultra specs for those that want all the detail possible.

The Max specs bump things up to an Intel Core i7-9700K or AMD Ryzen 7 2700X with either an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 or AMD Radeon RX 6700XT graphics card. To get away with Ultra settings, it's more along the lines of an Intel Core i9-9900K or AMD Ryzen 9 3900X processor with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 or AMD Radeon RX 6900XT. You'll still get away with 16GB of RAM as your top end, though.

No matter what Callisto Protocol specs you're aiming for, you'll need at least 75GB of free disk space available to account for The Callisto Protocol's file size. You don't need an SSD, but it comes highly recommended in the additional notes so things load a bit quicker.

The Callisto Protocol will run on PC system with Windows 10/11 and upwards.
