The developers have stated that The Day Before minimum requirements had been revised to an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card or AMD equivalent, an Intel Core i5-8400 processor, and 16GB of RAM (up from the previously required 10GB). This level of hardware would have let you run the game, but only on the "Low Quality" graphics settings.

If you wanted to play on the "High Quality" settings, the developer FNTASTIC stated that you would need to meet The Day Before recommended specs which jumped up to an NVIDIA GeForce 1080 Ti GPU, and an Intel Core i7-8700 CPU. The jump from the minimum requirements isn't too large, and you'd still only require 16GB of RAM to run the game, even on the maximum settings.

The Day Before size for download on PC was listed as 55GB of HDD or SSD space. However, the developer stated that you wouldn't be able to meet the recommended specs unless you install the game on an SSD.
