An Intel Core 2 Duo Q6867 CPU is required at a minimum to run The Island of Spirits. However, the developers recommend a CPU greater or equal to an Intel Core i5 750S to play the game. The Island of Spirits system requirements state that you will need at least 2 GB of RAM. If possible, make sure your have 4 GB of RAM in order to run The Island of Spirits to its full potential. In terms of game file size, you will need at least 200 MB of free disk space available. The cheapest graphics card you can play it on is an NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT. Furthermore, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 is recommended in order to run The Island of Spirits with the highest settings.

The Island of Spirits will run on PC system with Windows 7 and upwards. Additionally it has Mac and Linux versions.
