Can I Run Warzone?
Call of Duty: Warzone's system requirements are low enough that most gaming PCs should be able to handle Activision's battle royale. The cheapest graphics card you can it on is an Nvidia GTX 670 or a Radeon HD 7950 but Activision's recommended graphics cards are either an Nvidia GTX 970 or AMD RX 580. Older gaming CPU owners will be relieved to know that the Intel Core i3-4340 and AMD FX-6300 meet the minimum Warzone system requirements.
However, you'll need a more powerful Intel Core i5-2500K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X processor to meet the developer's recommended specifications. 8GB of RAM is enough to run Warzone but 12GB will offer a more stable experience. Whatever your setup, you'll need 175GB of space on your hard drive or gaming SSD to play Warzone.
You can find a Warzone download on the Battle.net launcher.
At the moment, the game is exclusive to the Battle.net launcher, there is no Warzone Steam or Epic Game Store edition. The game also isn't available through Xbox Game Pass, but this could change in the future.
Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific Update
The next Call of Duty: Warzone map update is Warzone Pacific, and things will kick off with a reset on December 2. Not only does the new version of Warzone drop players into a new island called Caldera, but it also features an arsenal of World War 2 inspired weapons. However, you'll only be able to use Vanguard weaponry in the game's Vanguard Royale and Vanguard Plunder modes, as the developers want to provide "new players an opportunity to jump in without facing fully maxed-out loadouts".
While you'd perhaps expect the WW2 inspired Warzone map to launch alongside Call of Duty: Vanguard, previous Activision shooters like Call of Duty: Cold War also released out of sync with the multiplayer mode.

Call of Duty: Warzone settings
Call of Duty Warzone isn’t going to wage war on your gaming PC, but you’re looking for a way to boost fps, you should be able to tinker with the game’s settings. First off, you’ll want to turn down Motion blur, Tessellation, Texture resolution, shadow map resolution and cache Cached shadows to increase frame rate.
If you have an RTX card, you can also take advantage of Nvidia DLSS, which should help strike a balance between great visuals and a high fps count. There are four DLSS settings to pick from; Ultra performance, Performance, Balanced, and Quality, so the AI upscaling can cater to both 4K gaming monitor setups and older rigs that use a 1080p panel.
Of course, Warzone is also compatible with Nvidia’s Reflex low latency tech, so if you have a compatible gaming mouse or monitor, you should be able to enhance your input. Best of all? Even if you’re still clutching onto a GTX 970 graphics card, you’ll still be able to take advantage of the green team’s fancy feature.

- COD Warzone stuttering
and FPS issues have been reported by users. Disabling VSync can help
with this but you should ensure that you have the latest graphics card
drivers from your manufacturer.
- COD Warzone performance
improvements can be made by adjusting the render resolution, disabling
anti-aliasing, and disabling ray tracing. Some users have also reported a
large fps boost by disabling the Discord Overlay.
- COD Warzone cheaters are a problem on the PC version of Warzone since release, but a recent update requiring new users to link a mobile number has reduced the cheating issue.
