Can I run Wuthering Waves?

To run the Wuthering Waves PC requirements, you will need an AMD Ryzen 2700 CPU, an AMD RX 570 GPU, 16GB of RAM, and 30GB of HDD or SSD space.

Wuthering Waves is an action-adventure RPG with gacha game mechanics by Kuro Games. As this is a game that is playable on mobile as well as PC, you don't need a particularly powerful PC to get the game up and running. However, the Wuthering Waves system requirements do have a surprisingly high RAM requirement, even on the lower end, which could limit older PCs and laptops from playing the game.

That said, while the game calls for 16GB of RAM, we've found in our private testing that 8GB of RAM can run the game, but with an unstable framerate and significant stuttering in combat. For that reason, you'll definitely want to aim for 16GB of RAM to get the best experience.

To meet the Wuthering Waves minimum requirements, you only need an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card, an Intel Core i5-9400 processor, and 16GB of RAM. Arguably, the RAM requirement is the hardest benchmark to meet.

If you're looking for the most graphically spectacular version of the game, you'll want to meet the Wuthering Waves recommended specs, which require an NVIDIA RTX 2060 GPU, an Intel Core i7-9700K CPU, and 16GB of RAM. The jump to an RTX 2060 from a GTX 1060 GPU is quite significant, however even the RTX 2060 is considered to be an old graphics card as of 2024 - the time of the game's release. As a result, meeting the higher Wuthering Waves specs should not be much of a challenge for most.

The Wuthering Waves size for download on PC is 30GB of HDD space. As for mobile editions, the Wuthering Waves Android size is 10GB, while it is iOS 12GB for iPad and iPhone.

Wuthering Waves Steam

Once exclusive to the Epic Games Store, Wuthering Waves has since become available on Steam. Despite this, there is still no known Wuthering Waves Steam Deck edition in the works, with the Steam Deck compatibility sitting at "Unknown". A Wuthering Waves PS5 port is, however, in the works, but it is unknown at this time when this is expected to appear.
