The minimum memory requirement for X4: Foundations is 8 GB of RAM installed in your computer. Additionally, the game developers recommend somewhere around 16 GB of RAM in your system. Provided that you have at least a modern graphics card you can play the game. In terms of game file size, you will need at least 35 GB of free disk space available. By contrast, the game developers recommend somewhere around 50 GB of free disk space on your system drive. An Intel Core i5-4590 CPU is required at a minimum to run X4: Foundations. However, the developers recommend a CPU greater or equal to an Intel Core i7-6700 to play the game.
