Can I run Deadlock?
To run the Deadlock requirements, we estimate that you will need an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 GPU, an Intel Core i5-3570K CPU, 8GB of RAM, and at least 23GB of HD space.
With Valve's latest multiplayer game already in the hands of numerous playtesters, we've been able to examine a fair amount of gameplay footage, compare what we're seeing with other PC shooters, and compile our very own Deadlock game requirement estimates for PC.
As a multiplayer game that will likely have mass appeal, we estimate that the Deadlock minimum requirements will only need an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 graphics card or equivalent, an AMD Ryzen 5 1400 processor, and 8GB of RAM. There is a chance the game will require more than 8GB of RAM to run smoothly at the time of its full launch, but 8GB should be enough for the playtest.
In order to play the game flawlessly and meet the Deadlock recommended specs, we believe you will need an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 GPU, an Intel Core i7-10700E CPU, and 16GB of RAM.
Of course, these specs could change wildly before the full release of the game, but we expect Deadlock to be very accessible, much like Valve's other multiplayer Team Fortress 2, and so shouldn't be a strain for the vast majority of gaming rigs out there.

Deadlock size - How big is Deadlock?
The Deadlock download size on PC is 10.04GB initially, but expands to 22.44GB post installation. You'll likely want to set aside about 30GB of space in total if the full release includes much more content than the playtest.
While we don't believe an SSD will be a hard requirement for Deadlock despite the trend towards SSDs being a minimum benchmark, we still recommend installing Deadlock on an SSD to benefit from the fastest loading times and performance boosts. So, if you need more space or want to make an upgrade, check the PCGamesN buyers guide for the best SSD for gaming or just check the latest, best prices for SSDs.
