Can I run DOOM 2016?
The Doom 2016 system requirements state you will need at least 55 GB storage available. DOOM 2016 PC specs also state that you will need at least 8 GB RAM in your system. Provided that you have at least an AMD Radeon HD 7870 graphics card you can play the game, but id Software recommend an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or better to run the game at its best to meet the Doom system requirements. An Intel Core i5-2400 CPU is required at a minimum to run DOOM 2016, whereas an Intel Core i7-3770 is recommended.

If you hit the Doom PC specs, but are still struggling to get good FPS in Doom 2016? Try the following steps..
- Resolution scale can significantly affect game performance - try turning this down for an FPS boost.
- Try switching the game engine between Vulkan and OpenGL. Users have reported improved FPS on either.
- Switch Vsync off for a small FPS boost, but you may see screen tearing.
- Disable background programs such as GeForce Experience and Game DVR.

What is DOOM 2016?
