Can I run Roblox?
To meet the Roblox system requirements, you only need a PC or laptop no older than 5 years old running Windows 10 or High Sierra MacOS, and just 1GB of HD space.
To meet the Roblox minimum requirements, you will need an AMD Radeon 9500 graphics card, an Intel Celeron D 430 processor, and just 1GB of RAM. This will get just about every game on the marketplace running without issue on a Windows 7 system and up.
In order to guarantee a smooth gameplay experience, you will want to meet the Roblox recommended specs, which require an Intel Core i3-2120 CPU, an AMD Radeon R7 240 GPU, and 4GB of RAM. Most modern PCs will already fulfill this low hardware requirement, but you might want to stretch to 8GB of RAM as some Roblox games can be quite memory-demanding.
Roblox size - How big is Roblox?
The Roblox download size on PC comes in at only 200MB of free storage space. The official Roblox size requirements state that only 20MB are needed for the initial download, but the install files will quickly balloon to 200MB, closely mirroring the iOS and Android size requirements of 218MB.
We recommend installing the game on an SSD to ensure the best gameplay performance, but it isn't a hard requirement. So, if you need more space or want to make an upgrade, check the PCGamesN buyers guide for the best SSD for gaming. What is Roblox?
Roblox is an online sandbox and game creation platform where players can explore millions of user-made worlds or build their own. It combines gaming, creativity, and social play, allowing users to design experiences using simple tools and scripting. You can jump from obstacle courses to role-playing games or competitive shooters, all made by the community. Players earn and spend virtual currency to customize avatars, access items, and support creators. While it’s especially popular among younger audiences, Roblox has evolved into a space for creativity and collaboration where new games appear daily. It’s less a single game and more a collection of player-driven experiences that continue to grow and change with its community.
